The UK Speech 2023 will be hosted in the University of Sheffield's newly opened The Wave building.

Arrival

Please enter The Wave via the main entrance on the corner of Whitham Road (A57) and Northumberland Road opposite Weston Park Hospital. You will find signs guiding you to the Conference Reception desk. 

Upon arrival, please visit the Conference Reception desk to collect your name badge. 

Fire Alarms and Safety

The weekly fire alarm test is not expected during the conference. Therefore, if the fire alarm sounds for a prolonged period during the event please evacuate the building by the nearest fire exit. The fire assembly point is at the rear of the car park.
